OK, so first things first.

I keep meaning to do this, but I was never sure until a couple of days ago it was OK to do, so...

I introduce a relatively new LJ user, Ms. [livejournal.com profile] nekrophiliac! She's been on a while, but hasn't met anyone new on here. She's really cool, has a great, dark sense of humor (one of the reasons I like her bunches~;), is a mistress of the sewing world, and is really-incredibly blunt-honest good. I would venture to say she's a tad on the shy-side, but still has her crass... I think it'd be rad if anyone out there felt like adding her and thus meeting someone new from the outskirts of Cleveland.

Second, [livejournal.com profile] bigjohnsinging has made a request to get some singers together before Christmas for a fun night of karaoke somewhere in town. After talking with him a moment via LJ, I am thinking (and he can correct me if I am wrong) that we will be hanging out at The Winchester in Lakewood on Tuesday night, probably after 8PM-ish. We haven't established a definite time, but the more people that say, "hey! yeah, that sounds like fun!" and give their 2 or 3 cents worth of thought about the matter, the more likely we are to have more definite plans. So yeah...HINT HINT! Come sing with us, no cover at the door, no contests or pressure...just come and enjoy yourselves. We discussed the possibility of a VERY CHEAP gift exchange...meaning, under $5, or even just dust-collectors from home. Hell, origami would even work. Just leave comments below if you're at all interested, and we'll talk more about the gift thingy later. It's not necessary, just a thought. I'm too poor to do much more than bring a dust collector myself, so... yeah.

The weekend has been way more fun/ relaxing than I can possibly describe. I think my funk is lifting, many thanks to the Jawndomay peeps and [livejournal.com profile] tiktiktok, among others. ~8)

Oh, the extended ROTK is outstanding, although 4-5 hours for a movie is just insane. Loved it though...thank you to [livejournal.com profile] jjjiii, [livejournal.com profile] angelhipster, and Sabrina for bringing yourselves and the movie over for our viewing pleasure. 'twas much fun.

OK, time to eat before I die.

This is something I have been pondering a while, for no good reason but because it is something so small yet so incredibly prevalent in our society, or so it seems anyway...

I have noticed the ongoing trend of people saying "love you," rather than "I love you," and this is both in intimate relationships as well as in familial and close friendships.

I was just wondering if anyone else has noticed this, cares, has thoughts/ comments/ snide remarks regarding this trend. I can take my own guesses, but then I always say the "I," because I feel it is important to make that commitment when saying such a powerful phrase. It occurs to me that people may not view it as such a powerful phrase anymore, but as more of a habitual statement in relationships overall.

Things that make me go hmmm....how about you?

I am looking for responses to this, so please lemme know your thoughts...even "anonymous" posts will be OK. I won't look for ya later, I promise!~;)

I'm sittin' around, snowy-snowed in, broke but OK because I have a roof and food and clothes, slinkees and [livejournal.com profile] wraptboys and [livejournal.com profile] bindrunes and Buttheads and CBMs and Shadowy-kitties (yes, I am surrounded by many a joyous thing here in Jawndomay *smiles*) and no one is updating, so I hit the random-searching mechanism here on LJ and lo! I find this outstanding structure, made ENTIRELY of LEGGOS!!!

happiness is the ingenuity of person's mind and their hands when they work together.
That and what the hands do when there's simply too much time on them!~;D
