Oh, and saddest of all sadness

I did not get to see my Leahbug on the 4th. My sister took off to VA for a while, taking Leah with her and thus creating the first 4th of July since that critter was born four years ago (TODAY, as a matter of fact!) that I have not spent with her.

Hell yeah I am selfsih. I never get to see her.

Speaking of her birfday, Leahbug is now four.
If you haven't added her as an interest, you should add Leahbug. Make ehr official, dammit!

She is worth more than any stupid interest list anyhow. Fuck it.

I work tomorrow. I teach my Resident Awareness class. I cannot get out early or show up late. I will miss Leahbug's 4th birfday.

I spoke to my Leahbug a bit ago.
She's all excited about her birthday. Debra is throwing her a party on Saturday, so I'll actually be able to attend. That is a good thing.

Poor Debra. She has had things so rough for such a long time. She can't find a job, her ex isn't reliable enough for her to have him babysit...he's essentially a big cocksmuggler.

I wish she hadn't quit school when she did. She says she's applying for her GED, but she's been out of high school for eight years now. I told her I would help her study, but she insists she can do it without having to study. I hope she's right...the quality of life she and my niece are living is very sad.

The rain smells so good to me right now. Cleveland = downpouring. yay! If I didn't have to work I'd be puddle-hopping my way to everyone's door and begging you all to play with me.

I'm trying today. Really, I am.

I think I'll rent A Beautiful Mind tonight. The last few movies kinda really sucked a whole lot. Session 9 and The Deep End were HORRIBLE! LOL HBO Late-night-bad-acting suspense/ horror crap. blech.

I hope the orientation class I am teaching today is good. I need energy to work off of. Nothing worse than a non-responsive, negative class. *sigh!*

Oh well.
