HAPPY BIRFDAY, [livejournal.com profile] sharpshinyclaws!!!

Got home last night to [livejournal.com profile] bindrune sitting on my porch, just chilling. It was a BEAUTIFUL night too, OMG! I only wish I had more energy. It was a long day yesterday. The class was awesome, very interactive with me, very involved and interested. I actually had one girl who stayed after to talk more about the things I went over. It was a good class.

As we are walking upstairs, [livejournal.com profile] bindrune mentions that I ahve a package that someone left in the door. I was thinking it was the gifts that [livejournal.com profile] tylorael sent, but [livejournal.com profile] wraptboy mentions that it's for me, not the house; the gifts being sent by [livejournal.com profile] tylorael are for him too, and [livejournal.com profile] bindrune, so I get all excited and wander towards the mystery package in the kitchen.

It was a medium-sized silver gift bag with something covered with smiley-faced wrapping paper inside. [livejournal.com profile] wraptboy and [livejournal.com profile] bindrune keep making cracks that the envelope is mysterious, and that [livejournal.com profile] wraptboy wouldn't mess with it because he personally didn't want anthrax.

I get to the envelope. It reads, "The Dawn" on the front.
Inside, it says:

dAWNN
HAPPY NEW JULY!!

~~~>OK, so I am a bit befuddled, having memories of December and the Mystery Envelope that appeared back then. If you don't recall, well, I was having a hard time financially, and didn't think I would be able to get anyone anything for Christmas/ birthdays, etc. A few days before Christmas, an envelope showed up on my door. It had my first and last name written on the front, twice.
Inside, there was this pointsettia-covered card. Inside that it read:
Merry Cherstmas
Christmas
Christmas
The gift was $200 in crisp, fresh $20's.
Both of these letters/ cards are typed.
Both showed up when neither [livejournal.com profile] wraptboy nor I was (were?) home.
So, yeah the gift this time.
A dozen blood-red roses with a cute smiley-face balloon.
So, the three of us sat around contemplating who would have sent these things because, quite frankly, they seem very related in nature. Same font is used in both instances, both gifts were not cheap ones, and in both cases the person sending them knows me pretty well, well enough to know my first and last name, where I live, and that I had financial problems back in December.
Now, to narrow things down, I concentrated a bit on the word(s) "luffme." [livejournal.com profile] tylorael says that, but her package was addressed to more than me, and how in the hayel would she get the fresh roses to me from CO? Most floral places will leave a note, and I don't think they would have wrapped it the way that it was wrapped...it was cute, thoughtful fumbly fingers did it. I keep thinking back to that packsomeluff-thingy, but I am not a part of it, so I do not know why I would receive anything from it.
A few suggestions were made, but they struck out only in that either the person indicated did not have the finances to give me a dozen roses, let alone $200, or was not humble enough to not leave their name/ take the time to type. I know those people better than that.
Or maybe I am underestimating people I know. I hope not, but well...anyway.
The roses are beautiful.
Very fragrant, the prettiest crimson...took up two vases. Kinda funny too...as I was trimming the stems, a few petals fell to the floor. Chloebearmonster came into the kitchen, would pick up each fallen petal, and run back into the dining room to chew it to pieces. No worries...she only got two.~8)
So, the question is, should I be worried, or just enjoy the kindness presented to me?
As I have mentioned before, I had a stalker that I put a restraining order on. I was terrified back then, moved all my furniture so that i could see any window or door, in case someone tried to get in my apartment. I began carrying The Box, and pretty much became agoraphobic.
I won't let this get me that bent, and I know it isn't him anyway; he wouldn't do anything sweet & mysterious for me. He wasn't that nice.
So, umm, yeah.
I am just in awe, I suppose.
Me? A secret admirer?
It takes some skills to put one past me, but whoever this person is? I am dumbfounded.
I guess a "Thank you!" is appropriate now, just in case he/she is on LJ.
Thank you!!!
