the shtuff and the junk
May. 29th, 2004 03:11 amI am a lucky Dawn Dawn, having the two bestest peeps ever living in the same house with me.~8)
We went and saw The Day After Tomorrow at Valley View earlier. It seems that the world likes the idea of mass-chaos, as the theaters were packed. Three shows sold out, as a matter of fact. It was a fun flick, neat effects, not too cheesy or sappy, just good ol' destruction and chaos. YAY! I won't say anything more, as I don't want to spoil the fun.
*pats self on head*
In other news, I slept horribly last night, crazy-angsty dreams, filled with sibling-related issues that I wish were dead and buried. Soon enough they'll be dealt with, but I need a few days to get everything together for Julene's box. I think my subconscious might be telling me not to bother, but what else am I to do with the tape, painting, and all the writing/ efforts put into this thing for her? Many thoughts about all of this, but they'll have to wait until another time. I'm in too good a mood to go into it right now.
On the funky side o' life, I woke up with a weird itch on my chest, like right where my heart is. It stung like a mo-fo when I scratched, so I took a look-see and found a strange red welt with some small blisters on it. Seems I may have gotten bitten by some bitchy li'l bug overnight. Nothing a li'l cortisone won't make happy though.
Almost went to the Chamber again, but then remembered the Prom thinger, and although I am sad I didn't go (mighta seen
anyho'...that's my life, in a nutshell. One week before I leave for Italy. Some odd things have come up with that as well, like I get to talk about why bringing illegal subtsances on the plane/ to a foreign country would be a bad idea for the younger kids in the choir.
...umm, yeah, that's kinda what I was thinkin' too.
ROFL
more on that later tho'...time to brush the teeth.
