Well, I have done a lot of major diet changes, including cutting back on "bad" carbs (white starches mostly), drinking more water, eating smaller portions, and I read EVERYTHING before I eat it. Sometimes it helps just to know the amount of calories is atrocious! LOL
Also, and probably the hardest thing for me right now considering my work schedule, I don't eat anything after 8PM. I allow myself water and tea and that's it.
My caffiene intake has all but diminished which is helping me sleep (and stopping the jaw-clenching at night! YAY!) and I only allow myself one drink a week, possibly two on a particularly rowdy night ~8)
I hope this helped a bit. I really have no idea what I am doing, but it seems to be working OK, so what the hay?
sounds like a good plan that is working! :) The hardest thing for me too is to not eat after dinner. Especially when Marty starts snacking - grrr! i have tried to switch to low calorie snacks, so manybe that will help. thanks for the advice. i hope you keep heading towards your goal. :)
