I am sad sad sad.
I just lost a bid on e-bay for a VAST promo red-vinyl single of "Pretty When You Cry" with two remixes of the song. Incidentally, this is one of my most favorite songs by the band, and I was really looking forward to getting my hands on this.

Oh well.

Hopefully I will win the last bid I have on the Miranda Sex Garden single, and the bids don't rise much. I shouldn't be doing any of this, but damn, it's hard to turn my back on anything to do with MSG.

best way to win at ebay:
do not place any bid until 5 minutes or less remain in the auction.
I usually wait until the last 2 minutes myself, and win about 75% of the auctions I bid on...

That's the only way to do it if you are serious about winning. If you know ahead of time that you won't be available to bid the the end, then it's not even worth bidding and getting your hopes up...
