thedarksiren2Speech final was today. The teacher was absolutely fascinated by our subject, and we had fun playing out the roles. I felt like one of those stupid trailer-trash girls on the Jerry Springer show...it was very very silly.
And the girl? The one who was supposed to meet me last Thursday to take the research I had done (and taken off of her hands)and type it out for me? She said she "forgot."
Fucknugget with blonde hair and a shimmering beltbuckle.
grr.
I think we got an A, at any rate.
oh, how I loathe group-projects! Thank gawd it's over.
Friday is my last day of Spring semester. My voice class wil be from noon till 1PM or so, just to go over my recital last Sunday, and then I am free for summer! YAY!
Well, aside from Hell, err, I mean, Howe House.
*sigh!*
I soo want two-three more days to relax. But there is no more to be had right now. soon though. very soon.
I sit here in the TAC at Tri-C, waiting for one Israel C. to shw up for work so we can do lunch. I had almost forgotten, but then remembered at the last minute that I had told him I would meet up with him today. It has been such a long time since he and I have just chatted. And we always crack each other up...I can say that of all the ex-members of Lestat, I miss him the most. He helped me with my confidence a lot, reminded me that my voice was more than a muscle linked to a body - it is an instrument to be fondled in as many ways as any guitar or keyboard. Yea, he has been a good thing in my life.
Speaking of bands, I need to get in touch with Busher. I swear, people think that I am hard to get in touch with? He is IMPOSSIBLE!!! Which sucks too, because he is this really amazing musician, and just easy to work with.
There's the goal, well one of them anyway, for this summer: do as many side-projects as I can find, get the funk out of my system, and in the midst of it all, figure out how to go to school full time and work PT in the fall. I always have all these people talking about how they want to work with me, do side-projects, but it rarely ever occurs. Last night proved promising though. I went to the Foldi's to work on Chris' side project. It's much more mellow than the State of Being shtuff, and I really like the sound. Only working on two songs presently, but we shall see.
well, my tummy is growling now I think if Israel doesn't show up soon, I may become like Otesanek and find myself grazing upon human flesh.
Man, I need a kid like that! LOL
Either that or my own web-spewing wrists like mr. Spider Man. Saw that last night...what a great, fun flick! Made me giddy and excited...I like shtuff like that!
