and this isn't meant to mock or belittle the hurricane situations, both past and present, as I have family in TX about whom I am rather worried.

BUT...isn't it interesting how these storms of massive intensity seem to be following the oil in the U.S.?

Makes ya wonder what Mother Nature's trying to say to us humans, huh???

i'm not saying this is what is happening, but i do see it as a possibility:

a government or group that has learned minor weather control. not like starting a hurricane from scratch, but maybe the ability to strengthen something that's already there--a tropical storm to a hurricane, for example. this group could target enemies, cause some major damage and loss of morale, and never get called on it.

i think the timing and placement of the hurricanes could be something more than coincidence.

Meteorologists knew before this hurricane season that we were going to be in the "watch the fuck out" peak portion of the 25? year cycle. No one listened or took it serious until Katrina came a rumbling through. Hopefully the worst will be over soon, but there's still Oct and Nov (and the remaining years of the Bush stupidistration) to get through. :\

Coincidental about how some the most precious resources are in an area of danger/risk, whether a natural or human threat.
(Oil = CA earthquakes/Gulf hurricanes/desert heat & conflicts/arctic challenges, etc; Gold = Earthquake prone zones; Diamonds= deep in mountains/civil wars, etc)
