i think the universe is all about sabotaging my everything.
seriously.

i wrote out this really keen post, utilizing more metaphors and expressing all the madness which is really really really trying to eat an acidic hole into my skull, specifically to battle against that gnawing, and then *poof!* it's gone, having been swallowed whole by the unknown void known as "Where Entries Go When They Mysteriously Disappear Online."

I wonder if someone collects these things.

The Internet has formed within its collective consciousness an artificial intelligence that has no purpose other than to search and explore the vast arrays of information within its domain. Every once in a while, this being comes across something that it feels is particularly interesting so snatches it away to store in its own deeply hidden memory files. Thus, the reason why it always seems that some of the best posts go missing.

As for why the being doesn't simply copy the data? Its personality is influenced by those using the internet, and there are far too many prancsters online for it not to pick up a bit of that.
