thedarksiren2Some people are already aware of this, but I figured it was worth telling the world, as it is something really good, and very much needed in all the madness of my new world.
My voice instructor, Dr. Pease, gave me and another soprano a singing opportunity in November with a school choir doing Vivaldi's "Gloria." Devona and I will be singing the duet in the middle of the piece.
I spoke with Mrs. Springer tonight about the show, and it will be on November 16th in Lancaster.
She is sending me contracts, and I will be paid $150 for the performance.
*bounces insanely*
It's $75 a night, including the rehearsal on the 15th.
This is just the encouragement I needed. I was really starting to doubt some things for a billion reasons I won't go into right now, but yeah. This has made the next month seem very small and time will fly by, and I am really, really excited to have my first *job* from this experience.
