I never got in touch with Vanessa, despite trying a couple of times.

Oh, and this keyboard? It SUCKS ASS! Yes, it does. I have made more typos the past week, and I know it's not just me, dammit. I think some of the keys don't work very well, so things are constantly getting left out of words...spell check is my honey-bun.

so yeah, I looked online, called a couple places. Donkey Cafe has a show at it tonight, some local bands, etc. It's like $5 to get in the guy said. ~{8/ I just wanted coffee or chai, dammit.

so I go looking for more things, and find out about a bunch of bands and shows here, but nothing free.

I thought about going to the movies, but then that money thing gets in the way again...

I am tired anyway, really. It's a big smack-down on fatigue from a week of walking and being in constant motion.

Speaking of motion, whenever I do come back up to Cleveland again, I'll likely be bringing some things back to Jawndomay. The tapestry, for instance, well, it's too long for the wall, and the ceiling is shaped strangely, so I didn't really try to do that. I may tomorrow...who knows.

but yeah, shtuff and junk.

I am having some irresponsible thoughts, honestly. Like, if my loans come in by Friday, and everything is settled, I would really like to come back to Cleveland for the sidewalk-chalk fest next weekend. I know, it seems so inconsequential to everyone else, but it's super good for my brain when I do it, and my hands and knees get all sore and raw from crawling around on the ground...

I did try to get the thing together in Tremont btw, but the permit was never gotten because I could never get in touch with the city to get the darn thing.

So yeah, sidewalk chalking, Tremont festivaling...*sigh* I need to find shtuff to do here when I have nothing to do.

I am not sad or anything, btw. Just bored, which is really odd to me. I am not bored, EVER.

maybe I'll see how late the rec center is open until...hmm...

Hey, does greyhound go to your part of Ohio? I'm trying to figure which of my friends that live far way are easily visit-able.

If you were to decide to come somewhere nearby, I could come pick you up - I do, after all, have Fairuza with me.~8) You'd just have to keep in mind that my cell, err...DORM *coughs* is, quite literally, the size of a closet with a closet. There's room for a cot/ sleeping bag though, not to mention if we wanted we could always just sleep out in a field somewhere(provided it was still warm anyway).

Hey, I have no problem with sleeping on a floor. Outside, I dunno- skeeters seem awfully fond of my rare-ass blood type. If there's a cheap hotel in the area, I could probably just do that.

Now, then: Checking greyhound .com- which I would have done last night, but I was *ahem* impaired- Greyhound does go to Athens, but not very often and it costs a hundred bucks. Anything resembling a major city close to Athens? I must admit to only having a vague idea of where it is.

It's south-east of Columbus, off rt. 33.

closest town is Nelsonville, to my knowledge.

Columbus is about 1.5 hours away.

I am in the process of trying to find a job...really horribly broke which means no gas money, unfortunately.~{8(

My financial aid did not go according to my plan, so until I get some money together, even Columbus is a hike right now.

Eventually we could do this though, yes.

If it's a keyboard at a lab computer, find a different lab computer. If it's your own computer, keyboards can be had for around $10 or so.

It's my keyboard.
Well, technically it's the school's, but it's in my room.

As for the new one, I have $30 to my name overall, and don't wish to spend that on something so superfluous, ya know? I can suffer a while...I was more just noting so people didn't give me shite about spelling errors or anything on down the road. Thankies for the info though, as always!~8)

it took them two weeks to give me a printer that worked...not worth stressing about. I was just talking...processing my life as it is, if you will. Thanks for the suggestion though!
