That's not only Lynch's best movie, but one of the best movies of all time, and perhaps the ONLY David Lynch movie that I liked/could understand. What an amazing film -- I seriously thought when I watched it that it was made in the 30's Golden Age of Hollywood.
DL faves? Eraserhead (freaky!), Blue Velvet (Dennis Hopper on nitrous? Yes!) and Twin Peaks (movies & series)(dark, twisted and freaky). Oddly, my Mom got me into Lynch! Thanks Ma...
I think myself and tiktiktok are going to get together sometime soon and watch it...maybe we can have a DL night sometime with all of us?! @ Mi Casa, Jawndomay, Android Shop, wherever?
the quiz said i am the elephant man and i didn't even know that was a david lynch movie
i liked blue velvet, sick but intriguing. i also liked the one with nicholas cage and william defoe can't remember the name of it. i also enjoyed the twin peaks tv show, in comparison i thought the twin peaks movie was short and boring. and i always wondered, what was with that cherry pie hmmmnnn...
Have you seen Mulholland Drive? I really liked it. It's odd, one of his more surreal movies (very dream-like, in that things-don't-make-sense-even-when-they-do kinda way) but I really enjoyed it.
I haven't seen Wild at Heart, although I hear it's awesome too. I loved all the Twin Peaks shtuff...I saw Fire Walk With Me before I saw the series though, so I had a different perspective than most, I imagine.
