About 14 years ago my father came home with this bookbag from work, a nice one made by Coleman, super water-proof with his work logo, "PICKER," on the upper flap. He gave it to me that year, knowing my old one had fallen apart.

This bookbag stayed with me through the rest of high school, frequented coffee shops throughout Kent, Stow, Akron and Cleveland, travelled to Woodstock '94 (surviving the rain, mud, theft, filth, and the TP tree), has gone cross-country, and, most recently, had been the bringer of work-out clothing to the Broadview Heights Bally's.

Well, last night I realized that the bag, and my workout clothes (including my tenny-shooz) were snagged the other day when Fairuza was invaded. I was a li'l concerned that the jerk who got into her had also gotten the leather journal that

angelhipster and

jjjiii gave me last year when I went to Rome, but luckily that was in another bag I have in my room.

Overall, everything is replaceable, which is coo'.

I am going to miss my bag tho'...~8/

ah well...off to Sal's to meet up with

wraptboy and read the coffee swirls. Again, the Universe will not steal my joy, although it might be a li'l tainted -- at least until I see Sal, Billy & Juafa (I am guessing how to spell this woman's name - it's pronounced like "waffle," sans the le + an 'a').
