A BDSM Easter...sorta
:::grumbles:::
I am not religious, by any means. I am, however, all about making a kid's life as full of magic and wonder as I possibly can. This just makes me nauseous.

Date: 2004-04-08 08:14 pm (UTC)If people are so concerned about promoting and preserving and defending Christianity, then they had better not try to shield children from the Truth as they see it. Gotta get it into their heads at an early age that fundamentalist Christianity is a religion obsessed with brutality. They will be better equipped to make sound moral and philosophical choices in the future because of this "good Christian upbringing."
Such is the idea. It all sounds a bit nutty to me. You don't have to torture the Easter Bunny. Just don't include him. The worst is that kids might start thinking that Jesus is the Easter Bunny or vice versa.
