ponderings on bipolar weather
Mar. 30th, 2004 12:15 pmit has become blatantly evident that the weather changes in direct relation to whether or not I am working on a weekend.
You think I am joking, but no. Seriously.
Take this past weekend...outstanding weather. I worked Saturday and Sunday, ten hours on Sunday. Not a single one of the residents wanted to go outside to play or sit with me...I tried too.
Then yesterday I got up for school. The drive to school was fantastic. The sun was out, I rolled my windows down...lovely!
A few hours later I come out of Tri-C to find that the temperature has fallen a good 15 degrees, and the sky is dark and gray. By 6P.M. it was a constant drizzle to full-out raining, and I could see my breath.
I will be floored if it doesn't snow by the weekend.
Why?
BECAUSE I DON'T WORK.
But see? I have the upper hand in all of this. I will have the last laugh at the zany-weather-brains of Ohio! Oh yes...
why, you ask?
Because in 23 days, my schedule to work will have changed dramatically, and might not even include weekends.
Either the trend will stop, or every weekend will be miserable.
Then again, we might just experience the Apocolypse...I wouldn't be surprised.
However, if any of you see the Four Horsemen, please lemme know...I'm gonna throw the most bad-ass party ever, and will have to utilize all resources to pull it together before they come for me. Then it's roasted Dawn-chops for everyone! YAY!!!
