Interview from

Feb. 18th, 2004 08:34 pm1. What do you remember most about me & when we met?
Wow, it's been a couple of years now, but I remember you being very warm (friendly) approachable, despite my shyness IRL. I appreciated that a great deal. You also made
batty_ smile bunches.~8)
2. If you could only listen to one singer/group who would it be and why?
OMFG talk about an e-veel question!!!
Umm...perhaps COncrete Blonde. Their sound has changed over time, but has still stayed true to its roots. Also though, their music crosses pretty much all emotions, so I wouldn't get too depressed or too bored, too angry, etc. Besides, the timbre of Johnette's voice makes me tingle.~8)
3. If you could have dinner with any famous person lving or dead who would it be and what would you serve?
I have very recently been introduced to the world of the late Marchesa Luisa Casati, and am absolutely fascinated by her history. Her decadence and ego live well after her, and she was known as a muse to hundreds of artists and writers throughout Europe. I would love to have the opportunity to hear some of her stories, of her quirks and reasons behind her outrageousness. As for what I would serve her? If money were no object, which with her it apparently wasn't (she was literally millions of dollars in debt by the time she died in 1957), I would have a table filled with the sweetest pastries, delectable meats that would be so tender they'd melt on your tongue, and the finest wines I could find. She wouldn't have taken kindly to a lesser meal, I imagine.~8)
4. Is there one thing that you do not tolerate in a person (excluding common things like raceism, sexism ect.)?
well, if I am to stay away from political things as you mentioned, I guess the obvious one would be people being blatantly rude/ inconsiderate. It takes everything in my power not to cause massive bodily harm to anyone who pushes past me without saying "excuse me," or who ignore you when you speak to them. Also, after having worked with the MRDD population for so many years, and witnessing not only some of the most horrific outcomes of abuse to negligence that left someone with wounds that never really heal...it just seems like common kindness and sense to be understanding and considerate of others in my world. If you are not, I am not likely to associate with you in any regard.
5. what is your favorite snack food?
NACHOS!!!
and JEEZUS how I miss them!
*sniffles*

Date: 2004-02-20 08:04 am (UTC)1. This is usually the first question I ask anyone I do not know very well, and I am completely serious...if you were a fruit, what would you be and why?
2. What and when was your fascination with Icarus triggered?
3. If you were going to build wings from scratch, to take that risk of flying too closely to the sun, what materials would you use and why? (this can be taken literally or metaphorically...all doors are open for you~8)
4. What is the most overwhelming emotion you have experienced in your lifetime thus far? What was the source of that emotion?
5. Since I do not know you well at all, I am curious about your values and beliefs. Please tell me of the strongest philosophy/ belief/ value (one or all three...doesn't matter to a sponge~;) and how you back this up.
