wraptboy and I have discovered the components of a formula equalling a Tonguegasm. They involve a silver spoon, a dog's soft pallet and peanut butter.*e-veel grin*

Find out which Malkovich character you are.
And now,
1. What did you do in 2003 that you'd never done before?
Auditioned for an opera workshop, got in, raised $5000 (with the help of amazing family and friend support! You guys all roack so f#@!ing much!) and went to Italy to sing for a month. Also, went to Switzerland and visited
evilshell and her hubby, rode on the Eurail (first train ever), saw the Alps, and, finally, considered long-distance relationships.
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
Yes. Already working on them.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
I knew a few people who had babies, yes.
4. Did anyone close to you die?
No, thank goodness.
5. What countries did you visit?
Italy, France, Germany, and Switzerland. Oh, and the last of the three were all within the same day.~8D
6. What would you like to have in 2004 that you lacked in 2003?
There was nothing "lacking" in 2003. I mean, sure there are things I wanted/ still want, but all in all, it was a great year.
7. What date from 2003 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
I cannot say one date in particular, because there were so many that had an impact on me. Some of the events...Italy, particularly the process of getting there, the blackout, my mom's back surgery, visiting Joanne and her remembering me after so long, discovering what I really long for in a relationship (thus making the choice to date someone that much more picky-choosy).
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Having faith in myself, on numerous occassions.
9. What was your biggest failure?
Not finishing my school work for this past semester, and taking incompletes for several classes as a result.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
I had bronchitis right before I left for Italy, and recently had a small upper-resp. infection.
11. What was the best thing you bought?
I cannot tell, lest people know what they are getting for Christmas!~8)
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
Wow, that's such a hard question. So many people deserve to be celebrated in my life, and I try to do so as much as possible. Jay and Kelly are always the wonders of my world, and I admire and adore my two bestest, most chocolate-peeps very very much. Anyone who puts up with all my shite and still manages to love me is worthy of praise.~8)
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
Allen and Krissy's at work. There are others that got under my skin, but these two definitely took the cake.
14. Where did most of your money go?
My trip to Italy, school and gas money.
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Making it into Operafestival di Roma.
16. What song will always remind you of 2003?
The entire Puccini opera, "Suor Angelica."
17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
(where's i? I'll make one up...)
i. Happier or more sad?
Happier. Lots.
ii. thinner or fatter?
fatter...*frowns*
iii. richer or poorer?
poorer, monetarily, richer personally.
22. Did you fall in love in 2003?
Not "in love," no. I definitely loved, however, and continue to do so.
23. How many one-night stands?
none
24. What was your favorite TV program?
n/a
25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
Unfortunately, yes.
26. What was the best book you read?
I didn't get to read very much that didn't involve school, honestly. I didn't finish any of the books I started this year, as a matter of fact. I am working on that though, and the year ain't over yet!~;P
27. What was your greatest musical discovery?
The ability to transcribe notes on manuscript paper, thus not requiring another musician to get the sounds out of my head anymore.~8) Oh, and Londinium.~8)
28. What did you want and get?
deeper companionship.
29. What did you want and not get?
my own DJ system
30. What was your favorite film of this year?
28 Days Later.
31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
It's not for another six days...I'll let ya know though!~;D
32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
n/a. I couldn't have asked for more than what I received. It has been a wonderful year.
33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2003?
More flowy-comfy slacks, more soft, more colors, higher platforms. Indecisive hair, always.
34. What kept you sane?
Jay, Kelly, my mom, (s)karaoke and slinkees.
35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
The guy in 28 Days Later and Benno Furman. OMFdrool.
36. What political issue stirred you the most?
eh, most recently, the gay marriage debate.
37. Who did you miss?
Chris Goodwin,
tylorael, and Amy. Always miss my Amy.~8)
39. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2003?
If you truly want something to happen, you act on that want, not wish for it.
40. Quote (a) song lyric(s) that sums up your year:
"In a kaftan of leaves I float
Sunrise brought me the peace I sought
I fly with no form to tie me down
I'm free to live to live
To let the wind heal my wounds
To let the sea fulfil my dreams
And hear the trees secrets so deep
Don't let them tie you down
Fly where you please."

Date: 2003-12-24 04:11 pm (UTC)Goddamn, that just struck me. I don't think anyone's ever said it like that before. Wow. A minor flooring, I can't believe I'm *married*!
It was so wonderful to see you this summer. You were so exhausted, I felt horrible dragging you around all over the place, and only for one day! But you did some absolutely *amazing* things this year, you know :)

I was just going through a bunch of the pictures tonight, trying to finish putting them in albums and such. Ten rolls over a month of travelling. Unbelievable.
