Cross-posted because i thought Quasilaur might get a kick out of it

Woke up suffocating, sweaty, just simply icky all together.

Slight recollections of a dream wherein quasilaur was visiting with my vocal teacher, Janeane Porter, and especially child-like and innocent. I recall thinking that in the dream, that Q seemed more like a child than an adult in the dream...I was aware, lucid dreaming, if you will. I came into the situation because it was my time to practice, and Q became super apologetic, moving backwards slowly, as if she were backing away from a rabid, angry dog. I became puzzled by this, and suddenly noticed the red violin in her right hand.

I was absolutely enraptured, and thought of Jeremy, the crow from The Rats of Nimh (sp?).

"oohhh...a SPARKLY!"

I reached out to touch it, as though it were a soft hand to caress. Gently, gently. But she, frightened, winced, and jumped just beyond my reach.

I recall laughing nervously, not certain as to why I was so scary. I recall Janeane telling her not to worry, that I only bite when asked nicely.

Funny, how my own words slip into the mouths of my dream-characters.

Went to Sal's for breakfast...the creamer swirled, despite the coffee being good without, and spoke worlds to me about possibility.

This is how my day began. Well, just after I took Chloebear out.

Did I mention we have a new addition to Jawndomay??? I know that wraptboy has mentioned her slighly, but well...

Yes, we gave in. We went to the APL and rescued a puppy last weekend.
Her name on the cage said Chloe, so we stuck to it - mostly. However, wraptboy can be heard uttering "Chloe-monster" while I prefer "Chloebear," as she looks like a panda with caramel and black fur.

I haven't ventured so far as to see if she's chewy, nor if she has nugat.
's okay though...I do not *heart* nugat.
blech!

Either way, "Chloe" alone will not do. We already have a lovely ivy-plant named Chloe...cannot confoozle the two.

Ok, so Chloebear's cuteness scale? It went drastically downhill in a matter of six hours.

She wanted to play, like, till 6AM!!! GAH!
Needless to say, I never made it to my appoinment. :::grumbles:::

I think I may have to forego getting the van tonight folks. My car is in DESPERATE need of an oil change before I can drive it to Stow. Shit, I don't even know what time my father works tomorow, so this is going to be hectic-crazy-stressful....GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
