I m deejaying with annabelevil at the Chamber on May 28th or 29th (too lazy to get the calendar out right now, sorry! Its the last Wednesday of May). I need opinions/ suggestions.

I used to DJ as The Dark Siren. Should I stick with that, or go with something else?

All ideas are welcome. I am pretty sure I'll stick to the usual, but figured I would ask y'all for some input.

you know i love you and think you are awesome in general. i love your voice and your real name. dark siren, i don't know, maybe if i knew you better i'd say it fits, but from what i hear and see and know, it doesn't.

i can't think of a suggestion really, except to suggest something to reflect your real name, without sounding like mr. rogers, if you know what i mean.

i'll eventually throw a few names at ya and i want to be there when ya dj. to bad you couldn't do some kj work there. i'd gladly lend you some music.

hey, i'd like to do kj at the chamber, half my crowd hangs there anyway, that would be cool and probably more fun than corky's. for the chamber maybe i'd need a new name. Ha!

I'll tell you the story of the name, "The Dark Siren" someday. Kind fun, actually. I used to DJ under the name at TYR a few years ago, so it is, if nothing else, recognizable as me.

As fo KJing at the Chamber, get some goth goodies and we'll see if we can convince the freaks to let their hairspray down!~;)

dj name suggestion

considering your name and fondness of the color red how about:
solar flare
solar flame
solar storm
sun flare
or just solar or crimson or even brimstone

in reading my suggestions and saying them out loud one thing i suggest, try to stick to two syllables, it flows better, especially when you're doing your dj banter.

the more i think of it, i really like crimson.

if you don't like any of those, try to think of something along those lines and if you do think of one even as a maybe, please let me know.

I think any references to the sun in a goth club won't work though, unfortunately.*shrugs*
as for the crimson thing...well, let's just say that is a direct reference to a certain *time* in my circle of female friends' lives. Not an association I really care for...ACK!

I will think about them though...pretty much everyone has suggested I keep my old DJ name, but I will sit on it a bit.

sorry, didn't mean to stir up issues. but, i'll say it more point blank this time, cause that's who i am.

i don't like dark siren.

it doesn't fit the person i know, you said it was a part of your past and a good story, i'm sure and i wan to hear it, but think about something else. i don't know why i'm against it so. it fits i'm sure, in the goth world, just fine. but the person i see and hear singing angel and getting every couple in the place dancing and kissing. i'm sorry, dark siren just sounds evil and your not.

if you where happy with it you wouldn't have put it out there. unless you where looking for confirmation to keep it because you do like it and just wanted to see what other people thought. if that's it, i apologize for being a budinski.
