Ever have a day where everything you felt like doing, hell, felt you needed to do, went against everything you're supposed to do?

I woke with a start, forgetting that I didn't need to be up as early as before. I am whipped, and the dreams were of pool parties in Barabas and beautiful beings enjoying life as it floated by on the waves.

just before I woke up, I couldn't find my way out of a maze of a neighborhood to get home (on time?), and the hills became too steep for my li'l dreamy vintage VW (I like old cars, what can I say?). I asked some lady who was watering her lawn - she told me the road I needed, as if i should just know it, but I didn't. I asked her how to get to it, and she just looked at me like I was crazy - what did I mean, I didn't know how to get to such-and-such highway? EVERYBODY knows how to get to such-and-such highway! *scoff*

I don't recall the last time I jumped so high from my alarm going off.

Yeah, two days in one week where I need to do something for me or lose my mind. Phone calls shall be made, and teachers will have to deal. Dawndom needs some lovin' too sometimes.

Like old cars? My dad has 12. Come steal them or something, they're in my way. And I wanted to call you last night to hang, but no phones were available for use. :(

My dad's had this 60-something Fiarlane in his back garage for like ten years. It's got less than a thousand miles on it, or something absurd like that. I swear I will restore that bitch someday.

No biggie...I was not good-company material anyway. leaking everywhere...not pretty.nope nope.

I am so enamored with the idea of owning an old-school VW Beetle.

I wish I could find one, even in not-the-best-shape, for under $1000 in these parts. :(

yeah, they're really expensive. You'd be better off living elsewhere with one though - they, even more than the *typical* car, don't survive the road salt for shite.

I'd actually love a '66 Mustang to restore. It's been a dream for a long time...yeah, FORD sucks, but i like the older cars bunches. No offense, but ever since computers got into car, they've gone to shit.
