three.minutes.at.a.time.
because tomorrow is a bunch of those away, so I don't need to worry about it right now.
Oh. and my hair - umm, it's not red.
it's not purple anymore either.
As a matter of fact, it's as close to my natural color as it has been in oh, ten years.
I am not mad or distressed necessarily. Just, I don't know, in awe maybe? I will likely fly by Sally's in a day or so and take stock in Manic Panic. If I remember correctly, Rose Red looks really pretty as a highlight to my *natural* color. Of course, considering the processing done on my hair as of late, it'll likely take a bit better than it did when I was 17. *grin*
I'm trying to look on the bright side, dammit.

Besides, I promised my Leahbugger that it's be red for Christmas.
I keep listening to "Oh, Thou That Tellest," and I keep telling myself that it was a very wise choice of mine, putting it off till Wednesday's show. It wouldn't matter at this point whether I had chosen to take a shot at it tomorrow or not - at this rate, I'll likely be faking it in chorale anyway. This, my friends, is one of the bonuses to ensembles.

theswede - I will call you when I get home, but will likely just let it ring 3X and hang up. Like I said, I can't talk.~8( Just wait for the call, likely after 9:30PM (I have to run by the grocery store after work) and if you can, swing by thereafter.
Now, I go to help put up a Christmas tree with the residents. They are all being so good today - funny, me being the one with communication problems today. Kind of forces the new girl into actually talking to them. I just don't understand how you can work somewhere for eight hours a day, a place where you are surrounded by eight of the most loving, real, and nonjudgemental people in the universe, and not talk to them. I mean, that's not a part of training, it's being human, and considerate.
I guess that has become optional at birth. Like, there's buttons to push on the belly - they arise just before your water breaks:
"Which would you prefer,a child with consideration or indifference?"
*sigh*
I told my boss that I want this new staff to be in my class on Resident Awareness this month. He said he didn't think we could do it because of staffing. But it really is my only other means of showing her...ahh hell. If she doesn't want to get it, she won't. Won't stop me from trying though. ~;)

It's just...odd.
Kinda funny though, to think that most people have hair-dying accidents and it turns pink, purple, etc. I TRY to make my hair those colors, and I accidentally wind up with a coppery-reddish brown.
