The habits of nightdwellers
May. 9th, 2002 03:47 amStrange thing, getting lost where I found this place about a year and a half ago, not realizing what I'd stumbled into until much, much later.
lemonmerchant introduced me to the artistic mindscape of
bajema, and I wandered her site for months.
Eventually, after hearing him mention that he read her journal daily, I became curious, and wandered into her livejournal.
Lo' and behold...her last entry at that point in time was on my birthday.
I used a quote from it as my sig for a while:
"It might appear that we are a nation of self-indulging, bleeding hearts that crave attention or invite voyeurism. I don't think it's anything as terrible as all that. I think...at the end of the day most of us just want to open our mouths and talk, hoping someone is interested in hearing whatever words form our personal paragraphs."
I do not know why I found this so beautiful...maybe because it is simple, and identifiable. Who knows?
I have only really ventured to read her journal twice since then.
Tonight, when I ventured to my last birthday entry, it was about the drummer from poison, whom she apparently thinks is the proverbial bomb.
Hrmph.
*YAWN!*
Maybe we could mention to her that Jany Lane (I think that's his name?), the lead singer of Warrant, has a job as a short-order cook at a local bar...
Don't know why I felt the urge...mayhaps one day I'll add her as a friend.
For now, I like the adventure.
words words words
blah blah
bullshit
crap
'n shtuff.
time to shnuggle...sweet dreams.
