So, I come home and find that I have nowhere to park but beside the house because all the bar people are parked on our street.
and also...
Because The Mounds have engulfed our backyard.

It's damp in the world of Clever-land this evening. The weatherguy said thunderstorms...I have only been chasing the lightning east...it never touched me the way it used to.

forlorn...the horns are forlorn...

I was hoping that [livejournal.com profile] bindrune would be up for the Chamber tonight, but her new girlie is up, and well...friends don't fuck with friend's fucks. Except for on answering machines...~;9

So yeah, Skye Contradiction invited me over to hang out for a few. I really want the crowds though...living modestly is possible, yes, but sometimes it just sucks arse.

*sigh*

I wanna get stompy, dammit! GRRR!!!

Actually, [livejournal.com profile] celestialsparks offered to pay for my entry into the Chamber, which is way cool, considering she is just in town visiting. But then there's that pride demon, and ooohh!!! He is CRANKY tonight! GAH! BAST!

wow, I am such a goon sometimes.

Did i mention there's this boy in my choir who, everytime he looks at me or says anything at all to me, I blush??? This is odd, I tell you! Just plain odd! I mean, sure, some people know how to get me to blush, but for it to just happen, and all the time? Weirdness. I would never pursue the boi...he's got to be anywhere between 5-7 years younger than me (although, the five I might consider. Eww! Stop that!!!). There's just too much for a guy to explore at that age, and I do not have any urge to teach a guy about himself. Last time I did that, the guy slept with my best friends and left me for someone else.

Now, why in the hell did that come up again???
*sigh!*

I need to get out of here tonight, one way or another.

Until I figure out what it is that I am doing, however,

01. your live journal "user name" & what it means:

I sing. I appear to be a *dark* person, or some such jive.
Really though, I used to sing at coffee houses all the time, and once this guy had a show, and he had some of us regulars up to join him. He began assigning sounds for each of us to make. Just as he came to me, and everyone else was still jamming, he paused, and a firetruck passed by.
He pointed to me and said, "You, Siren!"

And I began to wail...

Later, someone would say my singing was dark, luscious, sultry, enough to lure men to their deaths.

I don't know if I could kill someone with my voice, but I've certanly gotten some damn good drinks out of it.

02. on a scale of 1-10 (10 being the highest) how well does your livejournal represent who you actually are?

It's just a small portion really...it's the darker parts, much of the time. Maybe 3 or 6...some number divisible by 3, just because I like that.

Actually, I think sometimes I keep so quiet IRL, this is just where I am able to speak without getting interrupted. So few good listeners these days...*sigh*

03. how much about your life do you post to lj?

Some. Mostly just passing thoughts and images otherwise.

04. is there anything you refuse to post about?

I don't tend to say too much about my romantic relationships, partly because they are so few and far between, but also I just think there is something very private about the experiences you share with another person in that space; posting about it would almost feel like betrayel. I mean, yeah, I'll talk about how happy I am, but otherwise, nope. It's mine mine mine!!!

05. on a scale of 1-10 how interesting do you think your own journal is to others?

I dunno. Ask them.

06. from who/how did you find out about lj?

I hung out with the Supper Team about a year ago...AKA [livejournal.com profile] lemonmerchant, [livejournal.com profile] kingtycoon, and [livejournal.com profile] wittynightowl. There was someone else, but I forgot her name. She likes the bartender's neck though.

07. has anyone ever joined lj because of you?

Yeah, I pushed the crack on a few ho's out there. *wink*

08. what proportion of your posts are friends only?

about 25-45% I'd say.

09. what is your favorite interest on lj?

Hrmm....Escaping to Jawndomay and/ or Mr. Make-Believe's Stir Fry. ~8)

10. Has anything on lj ever caused you to establish, rethink, or even change your belief or position on something?

My beliefs are pretty steadfast, but I have considered things in new lights because of the things people have said, yes. I am definitely more aware of politics than I ever bargained for, which is OK. It's incredible to know so many people with such strong wills.

11. how often do you respond / comment on other peoples journals?

when time permits.

12. do you prefer to write in your journal, read other journals?

a little bit of both, actually.

13. have you ever had something mean said to you or been stalked, harassed, or got into an argument/flame war on lj (or did it to someone else)?

I seem to have had a few instances where people got into fights within my journal. I generally kick them out though.

OHHH! I almost forgot...yes, I have reeeally pissed off a certain moderator to a group on here. heh. that was funny.

14. have you ever banned someone from your journal?

nope.

15. who are your favorite lj friend(s) and why?

I *heart* all my friends.~8)

It's hard to choose because I really am blessed in that I know so many interesting people. [livejournal.com profile] taewakan has endless philisophies to share, while [livejournal.com profile] bindrune is just silly and wonderful. [livejournal.com profile] wraptboy shares so much of my space, yet we never see one another so reading his is always important. Then there's those people I adore from afar, such as [livejournal.com profile] tylorael, [livejournal.com profile] quasilaur, and [livejournal.com profile] kajmal.

Then there's the folks I have never met and just get to know through these pages..too many amazing beings to choose from. Sorry.

16. how many of your LJ friends have you actually met?

All but a handful, really.

17. of all of the people on lj you know of, who is the most like you?

Well, if you go by interests, [livejournal.com profile] evilshell beats everyone by a long shot.

If you go by personalities...I dunno. I share a lot with a lot of different people. I suppose my especially chocolate peeps, such as [livejournal.com profile] wraptboy, [livejournal.com profile] bindrune, and [livejournal.com profile] tylorael, are the people I identify with the most.

18. why are you most likely to add someone to your friends list?

If they amuse and/ or bemuse me in any way, they get added. I try to warn them first, though. I am nice like that.

19. do you automatically add friends to your journal if they add you first?

Mostly. Depends on if I deem them the good kind of psycho or the bad kind of psycho. Of course, if they have pretty sparkly shtuff and/ or cool pictures, they are one step ahead.

20. what is the most likely reason you wouldn't add someone to your friends list?

They are cruel, inconsiderate, and/ or carry drama on their backs like a prized possession.

21. is your "significant other" on lj?

No. I do not apply in this SO category, although I have a few ex's on here.

22. have you ever wanted to meet someone on lj?

I'd actually really like to meet [livejournal.com profile] kajmal some day. he is just really neat to talk with, and has really neat insights into the world around him.
