So here's the deal...You get to ask me *1 Question* any one question, no matter how crazy, inappropriate, sexual, or just random, and I promise to answer it 100% truthfully...the catch is...you have to repost this and see what people ask you....so go for it!

~*~*~*~*~

I don't really care if you repost it. I mean, I'll ask you a question if I see you've posted it yourself, but I'm not requiring you to do so. I'm really just looking for diversion from my work here and there. I've got a LOT of shtuff to do on the 'puter today, so a little indulgence will go a long way after staring into a computer screen for roughly five hours.

Did a little part of you cheer when you saw footage of the pentagon all fucked-up?

You mean on 9/11? If so, no, not at all. To tell the truth, when I saw all the video footage of planes crashing into things on my then AOL account page, I thought it was trailers for some new movie. It wasn't until a friend IM'd me and told me it was real that I found out. Then it was just tears and fears.

I'll have to get back to you on it...sorry! I've never thought about it before, so it's gonna take some consideration.

OK

This is kinda cheating, but I couldn't really think of anyone else. So yeah...there are two answers to this:

1. Lisa Gerrard of DCD. I'd honestly love to just get a few lessons from her, pick her brain, and then write and perform something amazing with her. I'm not sure how our voices would mesh, as their timbres are very different, but I'd love to have this opportunity.

2. Jocelyn Montgomery. Again, I'd rather write something original or create a new version of a piece and sing it with her. It'd be even better if she played her violin as well!!!

what's your favorite fairy tale and why?

Sleeping Beauty. I loved the symbolism in it, from revealing secrets, no matter how diligent one is in keeping them hidden, to the violence in the struggles between the characters (I adore Malificent! She's an amazing character), to taking simplicity for granted (pricking fingers on a needle, whoda thunkit???), the symbolism of death and how it affects those closest to it (the whole kingdom goes to sleep), to goodness triumphing in the end by way of touch (that damn romantic kiss!). There's more, but that's the basic gist.

I also love non-western fairytales a lot: the south american "Chupakabra," and of course, "Otisanek." ~8)

Do you use the same knife for the jam as the peanut butter? And if so do you lick off the jam before putting it into the peanut butter jar?

I use the same knife, yes, but no to the second. I always put the peanut butter on first, and I still don't lick the knife. Cross-contamination has been embedded into my subconsciousness for the past 10 or so years - working as a caregiver will do it to ya!

but you've already cross contaminated the jam.
aren't you tempted in the least?

good point, but there's a difference between cross-contamination including MY oral germs vs. cross-contaminating with other food, ya know? I share a lot of shtuff, having lived with roommates for quite some time, so I'm simply being respectful.

And actually, with the exception of perhaps boysenberry jelly, no, I'm not inclined to lick it off. I'm more likely to lick off honey or the peanut butter, and skip the jelly all together!

BUT, if someone has a peanut allergy then it would be worse than licking. you never know about latent peanut allergies.

latent, perhaps not. Otherwise, I think I know my roommates well enough to know their allergies.

You're very silly, you know.

tee!hee!

I think he's great. A roommate once had a giant lop-eared bunny, and although he didn't have much character overall, he was healthy and happy. Herman seems the same, and it also seems like his owner treats him well (according to the news report anyway), so hoorah for hugemongous rabbits!!!
