Oh, and...
Aug. 23rd, 2002 02:29 pm1. What is your current occupation? Is this what you chose to be doing at this point in your life? Why or why not?
I am an Habilitation Supervisor at a group home where I work with eight amazing people who just so happen to be mentally retarded/ developmentally disabled. Oh, and I also go to school 11 credit hours, just one CH shy of full time - I am a music major.
2. If time/talent/money were no object, what would your dream occupation be?
I'd have several of them...singing is the OBVIOUS one, but I'd also like to compose music and do some worldly traveling, possibly as a photojournalist. Lots of ideas, lots of life left in me...anything is possible!
3. What did/do your parents do for a living? Has this had any influence on your career choices?
My mom used to work with the rape crisis center in Sacramento CA, and I think she was a nurse's aid too at some point. My dad sold X-ray equipment to the government for about 22 years.
I suppose that my mother's jobs might have some hidden influence, but mostly I chose my own path.
4. Have you ever had to choose between having a career and having a family?
NO BABIES!!!
5. In your opinion, what is the easiest job in the world? What is the hardest? Why?
Easiest for me was back when I worked as a film developer at Busch Gardens VA. I loved that job...stay in a room by myself for hours, listen to music and play with shtuff in the dark. Great time!
As for the hardest, I think teachers and parents have the hardest jobs in the world.
