Yesterday consisted of driving and driving and oh lookie...the opthalmologists! Yes, I do need to see them...hmmm...

My hairy eyeball, which in case you didn't know, is my left one, the one that's been all bright-red and ugly for ohh, about nine days now. Anyway, it's just a casuality of...give you a chance to guess....YES!!! STRESS!!! Wuddah-wuddah-hooo!!!!

*sigh!*

For the next two weeks, I get to place this drop-shtuff into my hairy eyeball, and then i go back for further examination. Woo-hoo!!! Actually, this makes me rather happy...I am glad it has nothing to do with my crater-tooth, or, better yet, that it is not conjunctivitus. That would seriously suck ass.

After the eye people, I went driving my way back to Rocky River and got myself a Dental Care Credit Card. I will be getting my root canal in a little less than two weeks, and even with the insurance, it's $200 up front. Ummm, NO. Care credit it shall be. At least it's interest-free.

Went by Kaiser in Lakewood to pick up my allergy meds, watched a fire burning in the garage across the street - I think someone was trapped in the elevator too. More reasons to enjoy stairwells...*ahem!*

I wound up at CVS, one of the many taking over the universe known as Cleveland, bought some school supplies and some film came back (cute pix of [livejournal.com profile] sharpshinyclaws, [livejournal.com profile] pseudogod & [livejournal.com profile] haloed13 from our night at Lincoln Park Pub a few weeks back!) and came back to Jawndomay where every inhabitant was found lethargically oozing around the apartment. I made a choice to do dishes and make hot-n-spicy mac-n-cheese, and attempted to be lethargic with my comrades, but was still a bit stir-crazy and couldn't sit still long enough to feel at one with Them.

Then, the phone rings. It's a [livejournal.com profile] bindrune, and she's having an impromptu porch night. I recall suddenly that I had plans, and need to attend to them. i tell her I will do my best, but no promises.

I got to Busher's place by 8 P.M.

I left by midnight, a rough copy of a new song in my hands, and I am giddy-crazy-happy for it, and he and I have learned a lot more about one another in those few hours than we have in the all-but two years we have known one another. And he is healing old wounds, but more healthy in every way now than he ever was back then.

And the music was like fluid between us, and it is so nice to work with someone whose head isn't bigger than their instrument, and who feels as passionately about it as I do!

I apologize to [livejournal.com profile] bindrune for missing your night, but I did have school this morning, and I had to force myself to leave Busher's as it was!

All I can say is, this, as small a moment as it is really, was just so good for me. I feel renewed by it; combined with school today, my life has just become so much more fulfilling than it has been in months!
