Here are the instructions:
List 10 things (or more if you like) that are good in the world or some things you have accomplished recently, no matter how small or insignificant you may think they are. Most of what happens are small things and there are a lot of them...a lot of small, positive things. Ideas can be favorite songs, favorite pieces of music, a sunset, a favorite sound, anything that brings you pleasure.
Only say things in a positive way. In other words, say what you did, say what is good. 'tis best to only use positive words whenever possible:
1. Woke up to the sound of birds chirping outside my window in between the windchimes tingling in the wind.
2. Stepped into the elevator of the music school only to be washed over with a smell which did nothing short of sending shivers down my spine, through my toes, and shock right into my heart as I had the greatest sense of Thomas standing near me. Yay olfactory memoirs!
3. Found out today that I am singing at the Benton Hess master class in a couple weeks!
4. Had a fantastic lesson with Dr. Pease today...we were both bouncy and giddy afterwords!
5. Discussed plastination and the Body Worlds exhibit today with Tracey, my Communication Disorders instructor, and joined her in what turned into a 20-minute discussion, much of which freaked out a good part of the class. HIGHLY entertaining!!!
6. Indulged in the visual stimuli on my walk back to my dorm today...the colors are super-exaggerated as a result of the rain. Everything is so much more intense!
7. Maureen, a girl in my comm. dis.'s class, told me she loves my laugh. *blush*
8. Remembering last summer, camping with Jay and Kelly, telling stories and giggling over s'mores and beer.
9. The fact that my mother, father, Leah, Thomas, Jay, and Kelly all came down last weekend, just to see and support me in the opera.
10. 8 days until the Missile Command show!

Date: 2005-04-21 08:13 pm (UTC)here's something i'll add to yours. everytime i think of you i think of the line "rosy fingered dawn" from homer (the poet not the simpson) you're the personification of that little bit of poetry, which i think is cool.
