1. how is athens?
Ya know, it's been a good quarter so far. I am still not keen on the overall shallow nature of much of the people here, but I am finding my niche slowly but surely. Also, it's INCREDIBLY beautiful right now! Spring brings an amazing amount of blossoms and mutant bumble bees...there are woodpeckers going nuts, and squirrels scurrying everywhere. It's lovely, and rather peaceful in that respect.
2. did I get that right?
Athens? Yes.
3. did you ever think you would ever sing the way you do or get the praise you do from others from how awesome your voice is?
No, not even a little bit. I mean, I've sung all my life, but I was never chosen for solos in high school, and none of the bands I was a permanent member of were ever successful, so I didn't have much to keep the ego stroked for quite a long time. I'm still my biggest critic -- I have a LOT to learn and a great deal to grow yet.
4. who would win in a barbwired, steel cage match: missile command or van halen?
Are we talking Sammay Hagar or David Lee Roth? If the former, I'd say it's all Missile Command's match, although I am certain that Eddie would give you guys a run for your money. If it's David Lee Roth, however, I'd have to give it to them...he's a nutjob!
5. are you looking forward to singing along with missile command on the 29th?
YES!!!!
I cannot tell you how excited I am!! I just have to pray my financial aid comes in by then, otherwise I am not sure if I can make it up there and back!~8P Do you guys have a clue as to what time MC will be playing??? I'll need to know to make sure to get up there in time.
