Well, for the last five years I've been in this relationship that has been over with as of December, when I decided that living in Ohio much longer might just kill me. So for the moment I'm staying at my folks (still the same house in the Falls) till I get travel plans together- I'm aiming for the West Coast, but there are some stops I'd like to make along the way. The last year was just a little too eventful in too many of the wrong ways. too unhealthy, too disfunctional.
yeah, that's enough of the short version. I think the long version would be what my LJ is for.
Last I had heard of you- from where I don't remember-you were singing in Italy. Last I had thought of you, I was in Union Station in Chicago in November- came off the train and found myself standing next to someone I thought might have been you- so I started a couple of lines of "Bloodletting" and the look I got really made me wonder if it was you- didn't get a chance to ask at the time, wondered if I ever would. Funny how the universe works sometimes.
You heard correctly - I sang in Rome and Vicenza, IT the past two summers. Quite the experiences, lemme tell ya. I wouldn't have ever conceived of such a thing ten years ago...LOL
And no, it wasn't me. I've only been to Chicago once, and it was about eight years ago for a concert. I had some bad experiences that weekend, so my impression of the windy city is a tad jaded.
Life right now = going to OU for vocal performance, living in a cell in a dorm here, missing my boyfriend and best friends in Cleveland VERY much, and just surviving in a strange land, both metaphorically and literally.
