This is rather interesting to me, really:

Odin
You are Odin. Also know as Woden or Wotan, Odin is
called the all-father and was the head god.
He is the god of both wisdom and war and has
the power to travel to any realm in the nine
Nordic worlds.

So you were born from nine mothers, and have only one eye? Interesting!

Personally I'd have pegged you as a Valkyrie, but what do I know! ;)

I honestly don't know much about Norse deities, other than the one I got as an answer. But then, the nine mothers bit does somehow make sense in Dawndom to me...

As for the one eye, well...I have some long, drawn-out contemplations about that, but I don't really have the time to go into that now.

Tell me what you know...who is this Valkyrie?

The valkyrie are the flying, singing warrior maidens who collect the dead warriors and take them to Valhalla where they get to fight and feast eternally.

Awesomely beautiful, semi-divine in their own right, fearsome warriors when need be, and both loved and feared by all mortal warriors; loved for what they do, feared for what it means to see them.

The fit is not perfect, but I'd say you're close.

You are Frey. Freyas twin brother. He is the
horned god of fertility and king of the Alfs
(elves). His symbol, the boar, represents both
war and fertility. He has a golden boar named
Gullenbursti that represents the daybreak.
Although he once wielded a mighty sword, he was
forced to give it up so he could marry Gerda,
the Jotun Maiden.

To bring about the new year, the twin gods of fertility, Frey and Freya, copulate on new year's day. C'mon, give it up for tradition!! Besides, I hear she's way cute! ;D

I remember watching some movie about the white supremacist's embracing of norse mythology, and some lunatic racist was talking about Odin, and mentioned that he was also known as "Wotan" (as though this was a somehow meaningful or significant fact that revealed something, but I had no clue what it could imply or someone, as a prospective recruit for the aryan nation should care).

Anyway, I just thought I'd share that.

a little extra info c/o google

"Wotan is a being who in spite of his failings is endowed with real nobility; he is a God full of imposing presence and a victim of circumstances. "

Wotan was the Germanic god that was later split into Tyr and Odin. And yeah, the significance of this is eluding me as well.

I'm sure the guy spouting off on the inherent supremacy of aryan pagan mythology thought it was a "secret" name that like only five other people knew about. It's weird, like there's a few names for the christian God which come out of the Old Testament, YHWH, Jehovah, etc. and they're supposed to have some kind of meaning or significance to them, but I'm not theologian enough to know what they are.

Here's a good joke: How many words to Chrisians have for "nothing"?
