Not only did I FINALLY get a new window shade - and it works no less (OMFG) - I got a curtain rod as well!!!

YAY!!! MY CURTAINS ARE UP!!!

*booty-dances happily*

Now, if I could only improve upon the financial aid situation, my life would be far less complicated.

yeah, having textbooks when entering into the 4th week of the quarter would be a nice thing.

BUT...

I HAVE CURTAINS!!!YAYEEE!!!

it truly is the simpler things in the life that make it most worth-while.

And don't forget Burrito Buggy and Pita Pit!

I wish I could help with the books. Alas, I still dont' have one of mine and don't think I'm going to purchase it.

well, I don't have money for laundry, let alone the burrito buggy, etc. It always smells really good though...

I'm actually looking into getting a weekend job...somewhere...maybe *gasp* Taco Bell, as it seems to be the ONLY place hiring right now.

Thanks for the thought. It is appreciated!

P.S. Do you have paypal?

Try the dining halls first. I worked at both places. (Yeah, I held a lot of jobs to get me through undergrad.) Taco Bell sucked, but the dining hall was suprisingly fun. And you got a raise every quarter. And you got to pick what you did and get set shifts every quarter.

thanks for the suggestions. Are the dining halls pretty lenient with needing to take time off? I just know I have to go to Cleveland a couple times in October, and don't want to run into trouble with that.

Yes, they are. You just put your name up on the board and see if someone picks up your shift. If not, just ask your manager or others to take over or find someone for you.

Also, they have all different shifts (mostly 2-4 hours) that might fit your schedule better than weekend ones.

i miss afternoon coffee with you. hopefully we can do that again over christmas break or something. in my head, it's symbolic of the time i got to spend with you over the summer. precious, bittersweet (more sweet than bitter by far, though) time with one of my chocolatest peeps.

oh, remember that night on the bridge overlooking the concert and how awesome that moment was? yay! good stuff.
