At any rate, he was better company than I'd had in quite some time.

I wonder if my old imaginary friend, Kelly, was chewed up or merely swallowed whole by that sea-monster back in '81. I don't remember watching to that degree, honestly.

I like doing transcriptions into bass simply because I only learned to read it a couple years ago, so it's still something fresh and interesting to me.

As for that goddess, she shall hopefully grace me later this evening...yay! I have money for laundry!

I've never forgotten about your imaginary friend being eaten by the swimming pool beast ya know.. for some reason that sticks in my head. Must have been v traumatic.

I'd say swallowed whole, and it was quick and painless.

YAY! I wondered if anyone besides my closest friends would remember Kelly! LOL

Actually, it wasn't even remotely traumatic. I made the choice to let her get eaten. Kinda like she was a protective shield for me until I was about seven or eight, and then I just didn't need her there anymore...it was a liberating experience, symbolic of personal growth, if you will.

But yeah, even in my letting her get eaten, I don't imagine it was painful for her. I couldn't be THAT cruel!

ahh, that's cool - I always thought it was a bad thing, not a good one.

and erm, if it ever appears in a story I write, I'll give ya credit (and change the names to protect the innocent - even edible imaginary amigos have a right to privacy :) ).. its just something that really resonates with me..
