At the risk of sounding redundant, keep your eye on the prize and "let"
the irksome (or gory) quotidian details speak for themselves without
the benefit of your supervision or input. If ever there were a "laisser
tomber, que sera sera, whatever will be will be, let the chips fall
where they may" moment, this would surely qualify.
I have survived fifteen years as of today.

It's nice to see some things fall down on the history maps...
