I understood what you were saying, actually. I have taken a few rushed courses in Italian, spent a decent amount of time over there the past two summers, and have been singing in it long enough that I understand the differences between certain interchangable words. But yeah, I got it.

and, seeing as you put up your *direct* translation, here is my original...tit for tat, if you will:

I am trying very hard to keep my faith in tact
but it becomes quite difficult
when, each time I reach out to touch it again
