I saw her for a small while yesterday. She's getting so big, her hair is super-long and this neat coppery color. She's got her mom's gorgeous features and her father's hispanic skin (she's super-dark right now from all the sunshine she's getting at camp).

Eventually, sometime in the next few weeks, I am going to steal her away to the zoo, which has been our tradition every year for the past couple or so. She loves the Cleveland Zoo, and we always have such a wonderful time. I have some things from Italy for her too, but she'll have to wait on them. Her mother, my younger sister Debra, has yet to tell me what, if anything, she is doing for a birthday party for her.*sigh* I could have brought Leah's shtuff yesterday, but it's not wrapped so...

Man, I love that little girl too much for words. I am glad I am not a mommy right now, but really, I cannot wait to have my own kids someday. Leah is too wonderful, and so friggin' smart! She's going to be a handful for her mother someday...

In the meantime, Leah is in love with these Lisa Frank (I think?) dolls, all of whom have multi-colored, "punk-rock" hair and crazy, colorful clothes.

Oh yes, she is a mini-me.
