Puppy updating
Jul. 8th, 2002 01:32 pmChloebearmonster is learning so quickly! She is so smart, it kills me. And adorable? Ohhh, no one know adorable like the Inhbitants of Jawndomay right now!
I took her walking today, and she reminded me to stop and smell the flowers, or at least to walk through them and enjoy the sensation of petals on your belly! tee!hee! She *hearts* that.
She soooo likes cheese! That is how we have been training her all the nifty tricks. Not too much though, as we do not need the mess if her belly gets too icky. So far she can sit, shake, give high-fives (she will jump up with both paws and put them in your hand), and understands "wait" as well. I think that will prolly become her word for "stay."
Today she worked on getting her tennis ball and bringing it back with both
wraptboy and me. She loved that game, and enjoys that ball better than any of her other toys I think. Isn't that the way? You buy a puppy these great chewy toys, some are a couple bucks, others are nine-dollar attempts to sway her chewing on furniture and shoes and eating my socks and undies...:::blushes in remembrance of a comment
wraptboy made: "Well, everyone likes your undies, Dawn Dawn!" grrr! BLUSH!:::
But the one toy that tickles her chops?
A 50 cent tennis ball.
*sigh!*
After our walk this morning, she pulled me towards the backyard to play and do what I call the "Butt-run." It's so damn funny, OMG! She gets all playful & barking and silly, and starts to run, only her butt is all tucked beneath her, her snout wayee high up abover her lower body, and it looks almost like she's hopping at warp-speed! LOL KILLS me!
When she was done butt-running, she went over towards the back fence towards the shadow of a small tree back there. Suddenly, a dandelion caught her attention. She sniffed and sniffed and POOF! It puffed out in front of her nose, causing her to sneeze. I began laughing, and she became all indignant, barking at me and then attacking the stem of the plant that foiled her!
Too damn cute.
What a splendid way to start a day!

At any rate, I assume it's you and your roomies then?
I am flattered that you had me and [Unknown site tag] in mind. Jawndomay has transformed a li'l, but is still just as warm, if not warmer.
Oh, and all the lovin' returned ten-fold!
