oh blessed and gentle goddess of the laundry room, bless this house with clean clothing and sheets that do not smell of canine. maintain the health of my darks, particularly be mindful of my collection of nin t-shirts, bless them for they are old; the softness yet absorbency of my towels and rain down your wrath on the mustard stain which plagues my overalls. forgive those who would fail to use woolite as it is on the top shelf above the washing machine and difficult to reach. help me to see thy wisdom, especially with regard to not wearing my cargo shorts "one more day" despite the fact they have grown stinky. protect us from bleech spills.
