I spoke with Ross about the DJ gig he offered me the other night and found out that it is a gig through Spastic-Eddie, and only pays $50.

As wraptboy put it -- with gas prices being as high as they are, I'd likely spend ten just getting there.

I told Ross that as much as I appreciated the offer, I just didn't think it would be worth it for me to do between the driving issues, amount I'm being paid, and the music itself. I am too wishy-washy about the situation overall, and it wouldn't be in the summer mix of the Dawndom Master Plan (TM)lan in which everything shall be smooth and predominantly stress-free. He was super-cool about it, said he understood my logic, and that I shouldn't "put another thought into it."

No problem, Ross.


Now then, what time does The Chamber open tomorrow night, and how much is that State of Being show?

well, I've seen your advertising all over the dayem place, so you should have a good crowd, IMO. Of course, you have the CMF thing to compete with, but I imagine you'll get a decent enough crowd.

Thanks for letting me know. I should be there at ten, and will likely leave for a small while to go see SOB at the Hi-Fi, but I'll be back afterwords.

I was a little concerned about the CMF, but I think the only band with much crossover interest is the Misfits, and they're Saturday.

We'll see, I think I'm generating some interest with my DJ moniker alone these days...
