Of course, I never wake up when I am supposed to. That's just how Dawndom works. If it's not important to anyone but me, and then it has to be HUGELY important to me, then I don't get up. My body goes, "mmnope. nuh-uh. Yer sleepin' 'n dreamin', toots!"

And so I dream.

I cannot remember my dreams this morning. It's 10:15AM, and I woke 15 minutes too late to make my Discovery Weigh-out at Bally's in Westlake. Such is life.

I remember a dream I had a few months ago though, which is why I did what I do every Saturday and weighed myself at home. Back on January 10th, I set a goal to lose the 25lbs I gained last year.

As of today, I have lost 27 lbs.

I am so fucking giddy right now I can barely contain myself!!!

My goal now is to lose another 27 lbs. in the next three months. It's not as easy as the original weight loss, as anyone who has tried knows. The first ten pounds is always mostly water weight in any weight-loss deal. I am likely going to skip weighing myself weekly and go bi-weekly anymore, as it seems more satisfying. Oh, and how I ADORE the tape-measure! It doesn't lie, like the scales can, although I have continued to use one scale, a brand-spanking new one here in Jawndomay, so mine is at least consistent, if nothing else. Also, my clothes don't lie...I put on a pair of jeans yesterday (OMG this sounds so cliche it hurts! HA! HA!) that, back in December, I could not button so I would tuck it in instead. Yesterday, they were loose-fitting and somewhat baggy.

Wow...just wow.

I am such a smiley Dawn Dawn today!
