OK, so this isn't all THAT poo-disturbing, but...

does it strike anyone else odd that Macy Gray is opening for David Bowie?

Moreover, that the show is being sponsored by Tommy Hilfiger?

And that the ONLY stations on the radio advertising the show are Soft Rock 102.1 (home to the infamous "Delilah") and Magic Oldies 105.7?
*see comments for why I struck that last bit...my world is a bit more condensed than I thought -- oh well, I am just going by what I have actually experienced*

Wow...whatever happend to our Goblin King?

106.5 is advertising it as well. I hear about it every morning at work. Makes me rather upset. I think I may be deciding that I might not got :(

I'll have to think about it a lot tonight. And .. would it really be worth sitting through Macy Gray? ugh..

LOL

Well, he *IS* awesome live, so if you can go I would say it's worth it. This all seems a bit like grasping at straws to me, though. Could be worse than Macy Gray, but damn, talk about a weird combination! And the Tommy Hilfiger bit...GLACK!

97.5 has been doing "beat the box office" ticket giveaways and promoting it as well.

Ahh. That station doesn't always come in very well up here in the Land-0-Cleves. Regardless, I am disturbed about the Tommy Hilfiger.

I wish I could see him, but if I get a ticket that means I won't have any money til payday.
I am gonna try and get a seat on payday. I am hoping that everyone who gets tix are at least getting pairs so I will have that one seat that wasn't taken up in the middle of all those as close as I can
*crosses fingers*

I think there are about six different shows I would like to see but am going to have to pass on due to financial crunches, so I understand *completely*.

I often wonder how I managed to go to so many shows as a teen when I wasn't even employed.

things that make you go..."WTF???"
