I just read an article which states that there was a 7+ magnitude earthquake off the northern coast of CA, and a tsunami warning has been issued all the way down to MX.

My brother John, his two kids, and my sister Julie all live along the coast/ Bay Area.
I have several friends, including lemonmerchant, regohemia, and icariancypher, who live in L.A.

I know it might just be an extra-cautious warning, considering what happened overseas.

As I head to sleep, I keep this hope...for everyone to be safe and sound, friends, family, and otherwise.

How I shall miss the spoils!

Honestly, LJ has been such a good thing in my life, I would have totally bought one of the permanent accounts the other week had I the money to do so.

Tonight...

I am heading to Champps in Valley View for their weekly (s)karaoke contest. I am hoping to at least get 2nd place...I need to buy shampoo and conditioner in a minute. ~8P

So far as I know, the only folks who can make it thus far are wraptboy for certain, and possibly zzahn, his wife, and tentatively tiktiktok (still waiting on a phone call).

If anyone else feels like coming out, it'd be great to have some other singers and friends along! I know it's a hike for many people, not to mention Champps SUCKS and is pretty expensive. ~{8/

Just figured I'd throw this out to the masses.

And if you're not going to come out, I hope you're headed to RAIN nightclub to watch nomadoh's special screening of The Rocky Horror Picture Show!
