“We are proud that Microsoft did the right thing and has come down squarely on the side of fairness for all employees,” said HRC President, Joe Solmonese.
WASHINGTON – The Human Rights Campaign today celebrated news that Microsoft has decided to re-new its public support for both federal and Washington State legislation prohibiting workplace discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender expression. Last month the Washington State Senate failed to pass measure 1515 that would have banned discrimination against GLBT Washingtonians in housing, employment and insurance.
