still organizing, packing, cleaning, figuring, drinking coffee instead of taking a nap. I've thrown out so much crap...wow.

More of a wow, the things I have come across during the course of the day. Memories amok, some good, some heartbreaking in very significant ways.

I said out loud, "I really should just learn to throw boxes away when I haven't opened them in over a year."

And then, I slide the box back under the bed for the next year.
And for the dust bunnies.
They are taking over the room.

Last night was a bunch of fun. I was able to see many people that, had there not been parties and things, I would not have had the chance to see and hug & say goodbye to.

btw...because my brain is scattery-suede right now and I shoulda/ coulda done this as an entirely separate post perhaps, BUT...this is how it's going to go, which I think is OK, since people have claimed they are going to "lay low" for a while.

So yeah, EDT is prevailing
I am taking a break from the dust and insanity that is me leaving Cleveland.
I don't know that it will happen tonight as planned, but no one is holding me to a schedule anyway, right? Who cares???

*shrugs*

*sighs*

I had a lot of fun last night, yup yup.
Had my worries, watched madness and sadness and laughter and babble and soliloques and O Brother, Where Art Thou? I met some really fantastic people, and was lost in the catharsis of the night overall.

My most chocolate-peeps were with me. It was good.
More good people came along, and made it even more worthwhile.
The music was complete sisrahtac, both for the dancing (man, was that basement HOT!!!) as well as for the singing. I knew it would be for the latter...had lots to get out of my system last night - have for a few weeks now, and singing is the best outlet for that kind of build-up in me.

Truth be told, I don't care what or why it happened.
I am sad for the birthday people, and even more sad for the hostesses, octobreea and ciani, who both put so much into the night. Everything looked and tasted wonderful, ladies! You both deserve much applause for your hard work and kindness...it did not go unnoticed!

Yeah, that's all I have to say about all that.

Well, no. I take it back.

to all of you, because everyone is good and means well, really. Alcohol, anger, confusion, and good intentions get slurred worse than speech in late-night discombobulation. I hope everyone recoops without much damage to their spirits, or friendships for that matter.

It's all about being human
and recognizing the humanity of others
and perhaps finding the courage to face the reflection of ourselves
in those around us.

Or maybe I am tired and talking out my arse.
I dunno...

I just hope all ends well.
