I leave for D.C. tomorrow morning. Things have been stressful and exhausting, but all in all they are going better than I could have possibly hoped for. Because of the generous Mysterion's donation, I will have someplace to stay Friday night - I was almost to the point of looking up a hostel, which would not have been a great thing, considering that I need to rehearse a bit tomorrow night and also Saturday morning warm-up.
So, with that I utilized priceline and got a room at the Marriott for $55. wuddah-wuddah-hooo!!! Most rooms were at least $80+ normally. I am so glad that site exists!
Now, I have printed maps and directions (the hotel is a whopping five minutes from the Levine School of Music where the audition is!YAY!) I am actually bouncing in my chair...

So yeah, this is it! Saturday, 2:45 P.M. ---> calling for ju-ju and all that. I want to break more than legs, dammit! I was down and all out of sorts, but now? Now I am Diva Dominion, and I will reign over my judges!

wraptboy for letting me borrow your more reliable mode of transportation. I had a talk with Fairuza, and she promises to behave while I am gone.
My apologies to anyone/ everyone I have not been in contact with. This is my week for me though, and I need to stay focused in order to do well. I cannot explain how badly I want this chance to be mine!
On another note, anyone in the D.C. area who might be interested in haning out after my audition Saturday? I check-out of my hotel that afternoon (pre-audition), so I won't have anywhere to go for a while after that. I'd kinda like to meet some of ya, not to mention I'll prolly need a good swig of somethin' to calm my nerves!!!LOL
In other words...I am all about celebrating Saturday night!~8)
In other news, I met a very pleasantmoonthink in person for the first time yesterday. I felt bad, having not gotten back to him sooner with a description of me, but I didn't get to the 'puter for a few days; I knew who he was though, so it was all good. We sat, had coffee and hot-chocolate, and talked about numerous things in many realms of our lives. It was really nice meeting him in person, and actually felt very comfortable in his presence. Might have just been because we had talked online for a while beforehand, but generally I am not that cozy around new people. Anyway, I hope we get the chance to hang out again. It's always nice making new friends, especially with people who are so easy to get along with.
Alison cut my hair yesterday. It's actually quite a bit shorter, but still cute and me!~8D It's a li'l more tapered, so that I can sleek it down for more professional instances (such as this weekend), but also mess it up when I am out frolicking.
Oh, adn I dyed it a *normal* red last night. Very bright, but more normal. It was supposed to be darker, but oh well.
OK, I think I need to go. I don't know when I'll be back online, but if I get a chance to hop on while I am in D.C., I will definitely let everyone know how things went.
