I have discovered the amazing amount of kindness that people have bestowed upon me this week, and I couldn't be more grateful for it.

However, I have also come to the conclusion that musicians, as a whole (including yours-truly) are some of the most reliably unreliable people on the face of the earth.

Thank goodness for one such musician's boyfriend...incidentally, also a musician.

everything is complicated and stressful and all about the three-minute rule.

there are days I'd love to leave the moniker "musician" behind forever. . . but it's like the toilet paper that sticks to your shoe and follows you throughthe restaurant. . . kind of embarrassing, but it's really sparkly shiny pretty embroidered toilet paper, so everyone thinks you're the luckiest dog on earth and you think it's a great accessory. . . but it's still toilet paper. . .

oh, well see, there's the problem.

Pretty toilet paper leads to nasty infections, especially if it's scented.

I stick to the plain white shtuff, low lint, etc.

I like being a musician.
I am the luckiest dog on earth, having the voice that I do.
No worries there at all...it's just the money that's killing me.

there are plenty of rock stars who aren't what i would call musicians
and even more musicians who are not rockstars.

I prefer the term, "Diva" personally.
