Tidings and thingzzzzzz...
Nov. 27th, 2002 11:13 amMy thoughts right now...
1. I find strange and glorious amusement in the idea that my singing, "Oh That Tellest..." from Handel's Messiah is totally and completely sacreligious.
2. If my voice teacher doesn't show up in the next fifteen minutes, I might just cry because I have no idea how I will figure out this music in time for our shows next week and the three after it.
3. Three...three...AH! The 3-minute rule is IN EFFECT!!!
4. .oO(4?)
5. Dayton will not be happening this weekend. Sorry. Too much to do, to easy to forget (I need to remember); tests on Monday. It's Hammer-time in Dawndom. And no, you can't touch this.
6. Last night, the Tori show was fooking beautiful (details to come - I have so much shtuff to write over the next few days...damn!). Thank you for the birfenday/ Chirstmas/ December-day ~;) present,
theshadowsfall. You are the shizzit!
7.
sharpshinyclaws - I will give you a call, likely after 1:30-2PM EDT.
evilshell wants us to come over - we'll do wigs later, ok? Maybe later today, but she needs help and has shtuff for Jawndomay, and we just need to see her one last time before she goes POOF! tomorrow. I'll get back atcha on this.
8. I do not *heart* snow.
9. One, two, three, four (4???) tell the people what she wore...
OK, gotta see if Janeane showed up. Might be back in a few.

Date: 2002-11-27 12:58 pm (UTC)I wish I could come down - I'd simply love to get the hell out of here for a day or two. But it's just not possible. Not remotely.
Have a good turkey-day, and you take care of you too!!!

Date: 2002-11-27 09:46 am (UTC)I saw her in Toledo many years ago and it was WONDERFUL. Her latest album isn't my favorite, but I would expect the show to still be very good.
And how can singing Messiah be sacreligious? I'm not a religious person, but that song is just beautiful.

Date: 2002-11-27 01:00 pm (UTC)I will get to that latah though.
As for the Messiah itself? No, it's not sacreligious at all. Me singing it, as in it coming from my mouth (not the action, just the source) kinda is.
Think about it - Dawn = Bringer of Light = Lucifer, etc.
Joke betwixt me and friends.
I am e-veel, dontcha know?

Date: 2002-11-27 01:09 pm (UTC)Though Lucifer was an angel too. I wonder if he celebrates Christmas, and if he does would it be more of the "merciful beheadings" sort?
Have you read any of the Lucifer comic books? They continue the character as shown in Neil Gaiman's Sandman series. Interesting stuff.
I admit, I didn't get the evil vibe from ya when we were talking. You must hide it very well :)
