To everyone who knows [livejournal.com profile] bigjohnsinging, he recently posted the following:

hi folks,

well... another chapter in my life is ending. i wasn't able to sell my house. the bank took over and locked me out. they're giving me one day to move out my stuff. my sister is renting a u-haul truck for me and my nephew and his friend are gonna help me move.

anyone who can help, i can use all i can get, please show up at my former house at 16011 westdale ave. cleveland. we start at 8:00am this saturday july 30th.

I think I am going to try to make it over there for a little while on Saturday to try to help. I feel just terrible that this happened to him. He's really tried to sell his house, but just had no luck.

Anyone else who can help, I am sure he'd be incredibly grateful. He's an incredibly sweet, kind man who's heart is bigger than most. I cannot imagine how this is breaking that heart...

Remember my post from the other day wherein I mentioned a poem that I liked by Kahlil Gibran?

I found it, and it goes a li'l somethin' like this: )

For whatever reason, these two quotes really got to me today, and I wanted to share them:

This first one has more to do with the bold print than the rest, but I figured it'd make more sense in context:

"So, if I'm dating someone, and it turns out they'd be happier elsewhere...well, here's a goodbye kiss and good luck. I mean, what are you gonna do? Try to make them stay, so you can both be miserable? Funk dat. That's selfish, is all it is. Oh, and the old saw about setting someone free?

"If you love them, then why would you have them caged in the first place?" - [livejournal.com profile] avatar_x

Then there's this:

"I would rather a friendship with zippered lips than one floating on a milk & honey stream of placating half-lies and murmured affirmations to soothe you." - [livejournal.com profile] icefacade

She always has a way with words that i envy.

HELL LEVEL 2
Raw score: 76%
You're just about as deep in sexual hellfire as a person can get. Virtually no urge, however demented, will go ungratified; practically no boundary will go uncrossed. You're probably proud of your adventurousness, and, honestly, you should be. Few people are confident enough to pursue pleasure on their own terms.

Your morals could sink a bit further, sure, but it's mostly likely that you've got a pretty good idea of what you're into and what you would do...above all you're honest with yourself with what you want. If more people told the truth, you'd have a lot more company down in the flames.

AVOID: the lost souls in sexual heaven and (above all) the denizens of sexual purgatory. You don't need any prudes or wishy-washers in your life.
