More in the department of miracles and awe

Outstanding nights surrounded by the best of people, sharing daydreams that are, indeed, too wonderful to leave behind for this dulled reality. bindrune, wraptboy, dv8productions and I watched one of the most amazing men in Cleveland, David Vidra, blubber in awe at the show of support and encouragement from his closest friends as he realized a fund-raising party had been put together for him so that he could go to L.A. to receive his Lifetime Achievemen Award, an honor given to only five people a year. I wish I knew more about the award, and will have to do some research out of mere curiosity. All I know is I cannot think of anyone more deserving than David. He does wonders for the body modifcation industry, not to mention getting legislation passed regulating standards if practice in Ohio. If it wasn't for his work, Cleveland, specifically Cuyahoga County, wouldn't have tattoo shops again. Sure, there are still hacks all over, but at least even they have to live up to specific requirements in order to remain open.

Also, back when I was still with Chris, when I went through my six months of hell, David was there, and put up with more shit from me than any human being should ever have to. Oh, and it is because of him that i have my job, regardless of my disdain for it now. He helped me so much in so many ways...

Today I celebrate for an old friend, and bask in the friends I have all around me. You are all wonderful, and if I could give each of you an award for your wonder and strength, I would shower you with the love and kindess you have shown to me.

And the hope...you have no idea the hope you all give to me with every passing day.
