Another interview
Sep. 23rd, 2003 11:54 amIn case you missed how this works, go here for the rules, and proceed as necessary.
Otherwise, these are some questions (and some damn good ones at that!) from
theshadowsfall:
1. Was your experience in Rome, all that you expected?
I didn't really know what to expect, honestly. I had ideas in my head, but I am generally more apt to keep my expectations of anything to a bare minimum so that I don't get let down, you know? Overall, it was an amazing experience that I would definitely do again. That being said, it was very hard for me, as the fact that I have slipped through the cracks on so many levels when it comes to music floated to the surface, and I was at a disadvantage in that respect. It has left me with a sense of how much more work I need to put into all of this though, especially if I plan on making a living at it.
2. What is your favorite Tori Amos song?
Oof. Well, they have come in spurts, depending on what album was out. Probably my most favorite song is "Here in My Head," although that one is not well known. As for songs that come directly from her actual albums, well it started with "Precious Things," which, to this day, is my favorite song of hers to sing. Then it was "Space Dog" when Under the Pink came out. Then it was "Muhammed, My Friend," and then "Spring Haze." Tough decision to make though...wow.
3. Do you have a canidate in the next Presidential election that you support?
Not at this point, no. I have only just glimpsed at who else is running, but I can assure you Bush is not my choice, no matter what.
4. If you died tomorrow, what would you like to be remembered for?
Damn, you're trying to hurt my head now, aren't you? LOL
Maybe for just creating a happy, warm spot in someone's life, for making them smile whenever I was around.
5. what song best describes you?
I do not know if I can pinpoint one song that explains me completely, but a song I have always clung to, especially when life is a struggle, is Heart's "Love Alive." It always gives me hope like no other song does.

Sep. 23rd, 2003 01:39 pm1. Do you feel there is a defining point in your past, a moment when you realized something that changed things, or where things actually did change, and you came out different than before this moment?
Probably the biggest moment in regard to this question would be when I nearly died a few years back. I don't know how to explain it except to say that I knew I had to make drastic changes in my life if I planned on going beyond that moment. I cannot recall feeling so many emotions at once.
2. What do you feel is the most important aspect of a person? That is; what do you feel is the most important attribute for someone to become a good friend, coworker or partner?
I have friends from all walks of life, as you know. Each person has a unique part to them, but probably the biggest thing I look for is someone who is considerate to others, who has kindness inside of them that simply radiates within my view. I like people to be extremely honest and forthright, yet have some cooth and regard for other people as well.
As for co-workers, that's a different subject all together. I separate personal life from work life as much as possible, so when I am looking at a new trainee, I like to see a self-motivated person who is willing to step up to whatever needs done. Strong work ethic is a big part of getting along well with my coworkers.
And the lover part? I have some ideas, but mostly they are the same as friendships; add in some chemistry and intimacy beyond the flesh, well, that is what I hope for.
3. You often have very vivid dreams; do you feel that means something about you or your life? Specifically, do you think something is trying to tell you something?
Sometimes I do, yes. Sometimes I know it is just my subconscious working inner demons out. Other times, I have seen the results of a dream, and it sometimes bothers me greatly that I couldn't have done something to stop an occurance. I don't know how much other people believe me, and really don't care either. I just know what I have seen/ experienced, and go by that.
4. Someone approaches you with the offer of your dreams. What is the offer, and under what conditions will you accept it?
A full-fledged ticket to school, including all music courses, with the open ability to visit my family and friends anytime I wanted.
5. What do you feel you're the most proud about in your life, your greatest accomplishment, feature, skill or the like?
to have survived this long and been blessed with the best family and friends I could have imagined!
