Happy thought for the day

wraptboy came home last week with a single red rose for me. He had no reason other than it would make me smile. He really didn't have the money for it either, so it hurt a little in my heart that he felt I needed to smile that strongly, but then the pain lifted and I just swam in the knowledge that I have amazingly thoughful and precious friends around me, always.

Today, the rose is still erect, slightly opening and as lovely a crimson as it was the day it came into the house. It wafts just as sweetly as it did a week ago.

Thank you, wraptboy for being the best friend and roommate ever in existence! I love you bunches!

and then there are the days when

things that should not be so complicated become much too complicated only because we think and rethink and analyze and over-analyze the shite out of 'em.

*sigh*
